Whole-House Carbon Filtration System
The Whole-House Carbon Filtration System Offers an Economical Way to Improve the Quality of Municipally Treated Water
Homeowners can regenerate this system whenever they want by simply turning a dial, and there’s no need to keep adjusting the valve.
Convenience and potential cost savings combine in this top-quality carbon filtration system that’s designed to dramatically reduce chlorine and other impurities that can undermine the taste and smell of your municipally treated water. This system requires no electricity and, unlike with other manual systems, you won’t need to monitor the time. There’s also an automatic bypass that allows you to continue receiving water during regeneration. Chlorine is a common disinfectant found in municipal water that’s been treated to meet safe drinking water standards. It’s no longer needed when the water reaches your home, and many homeowners object to the taste and odor of chlorine. This durable and highly effective system provides an economical solution to chlorine reduction. Your RainSoft dealer can analyze your water and help you choose the water filtration system that’s right for you.

Features & Benefits
Tank-Within-A-Tank Construction
The filtration tank is wound with miles of glass filament for extra strength and encases a second sanitary tank that ensures your drinking water never touches the interior fiberglass surface.
Exclusive Composite Valve
The valve uses advanced NORYL™ composite material for enhanced strength and protection against expansion and shrinkage due to pressure and temperature demands.
Choice of Filter Media
Homeowners can choose between HYSULEX™, a highly activated carbon with abundant surface area to absorb contaminants, and SUPER HYSULEX™, which has even greater absorption capabilities.
Whole-House Carbon Filtration is
Perfect for Homes with Municipally Treated Water
Application Limitations
The rate of flow from the well pump must be greater than the required backwash rate. The water to be filtered should be free of oil and suspended matter and relatively free of iron and turbidity for maximum service life for taste and odor reduction. Actual results may vary based on local water conditions.
Maintenance Requirements
Filtering Media will eventually become exhausted or consumed and need replacement. Replacement schedule will depend on incoming water quality and amount of water used. Your local RainSoft dealer can provide you with the recommended replacement schedule for your particular application.
Control Valves
The regeneration valve is designed to last a lifetime. From time to time it may be necessary to clean, lubricate or replace some parts. Your water quality and the amount of regenerations will affect this schedule.
